This year I want my students to take ownership of their learning. The best way to do that is to allow the students to choose how they best learn. Some might learn best by standing up, rocking in a rocking chair, or just laying down on their bellies. I want them to be flexible in their learning and having a full flexible seating classroom, including pillows and beanbag seats, will help accommodate this style of learning. Flexible seating offers so many options for students within the classroom. Being flexible is a life skill that students can begin to put into practice while in the classroom setting.
