Flexible seating will make a difference in my students' learning by giving them more control over their learning environment. My students will be able to choose a seat that works best for them in the classroom. They can take their comfy seats wherever they go. The traditional standard classroom chair isn't ideal for everyone, especially if it's the only option in a 6-hour day. I believe providing flexible seating options of their choice will give them a sense of autonomy and motivate them to stay on task and behave positively. Last year, I witnessed a change in their commitment when I introduced 4 non-traditional seats. My classroom is in dire need of a flexible seating revolution!
