You Get a Prize, Everyone Gets a Prize!
Funded Nov 28, 2023Thank you so much for making sure that all of the students I see are getting prizes. As an intervention teacher of 300+ students, classroom management is really important. These prizes have helped students from Kindergarten to fifth grade be excited about receiving a prize. The smelly stickers, playdoh, squishies and fidget spinners have made students more engaged intervention during small groups. Students not in small groups are still motivated to be respectful and on task thanks to these prizes!”

Funded Aug 3, 2023Thank you so much. These items helped me transition from my role as a classroom teacher to an intervention teacher. I went from working with 30 students to about 280 students. I see all the grades from K-5 and all of these items have helped so much! The black cart is where I hold all of my items, the laptop stand helps me write my lesson plans and whiteboard markers help me stay organized. All of the binders have been put to use to keep data and resources for students. Once again, thank you so much for believing in me and in all of my students.”

Funded Jan 19, 2023Thank you so much for making learning fun for my students! When they came in to the classroom their face lit up so bright. They were excited to learn in a different environment. They were having so much fun they did not realize they were learning. All of the glow supplies were enough for two days of full glow party reviews. We were able to review MATH and ELA with all of the supplies that you made possible! We still have a few supplies left to do another review/glow party. Once again, thank you so much!”

Spoiling Fourth Graders With What They Deserve!
Funded Sep 20, 2022The look on my students faces when they received their items was priceless. They were so excited to receive their watercolors because it meant they could take it home! They were very thankful to have brand new school supplies such as new whiteboard markers and pencils. Some students were using old notebooks and were speechless when they saw the new books they has received! My students are hard workers and these supplies show them that if they work hard they will succeed. I am vey thankful for the time you took to look at our projects and even more thankful that you made it possible for my students to feel like they do indeed deserve the best!”

Funded Sep 15, 2022My students are so excited to come to school everyday and begin their day with morning tubs. The students come in and they have the option of picking a tub for the morning. They are able to work/play with other students which allows them to build relationships before the day even starts. The students all love the activities and love being able to rotate activities throughout the week. Morning Tubs have really changed the mornings for me and my students. Rather than starting the day with curriculum, the students are getting a soft start to the day. Moreover, students that are late do not miss any lessons. Once again, my class loves morning tubs. Thank you!!”

Tools for Long-lasting Teaching
Funded May 13, 2022I have used my laminator so many times this year! It has been two months back in school and I have laminated: anchor charts, students work and student made bookmarks. I am able to laminate student work and am very excited for families to keep all these amazing work their students are making. Thank you so much!! I do not have wait until someone laminates work for me-but I now have the time and flexibility to do it whenever I can. The materials I received- the paper cutters and the scissors have helped make the laminating process easier. This has also helped a lot in getting organized.”

Funded Oct 2, 2021Words cannot express how grateful I am to you. My students were able to come back to school and review in a creative and fun way. They were able to show off all the knowledge they had gained last year and the few weeks back this academic year.
The students were really excited when they came inside the classroom and noticed that it had been transformed into a giant glow party! There were posters that said each station they were going to visit with neon paint. Each station had glow in the dark prizes and school supplies. In addition, each station was a game. Students had to answer 5-10 questions before they could play. With this motivation, a lot of students were able to finish their review questions and actually took their time to study.
After they finished going to every station, the students were able to join the games and had a few minutes to just enjoy their glow time. Now that they have had a glow day, they are looking forward to more glow days. The games, neon paint and glow accessories will continue to be used through out the academic year to help prove to my students that they can learn and have fun at the same time.”

History and Science Models for a Firsthand Experience!
Funded May 11, 2021Thank you so much for your contribution. My students and I have been using the science models to learn science hands on! We have been learning about plate tectonics and earthquakes! They have been able to connect it to earthquakes they or their family members have experienced. It was awesome to have these resources ready for them. I had missed having hands-on activities.
The students were so excited and impressed when I was able to show them the layers on earth through the model. They are also very excited to begin our lessons on volcanoes! They have seen the small models that I have them and they cannot wait to create bigger models on their own. As said before, I have missed these hands-on lessons and so have the students. I am also very thrilled to share with the students about the gold rush unit that we will have in the beginning of next year. After they are done researching and learning about the gold rush, they will travel back in time and become 49ers! They will have to pan for gold and learn how to trade. I am so excited to share with them the actual pieces of gold that they dust off as they continue learning hands-on this year!”

Funded Jan 16, 2021It has been such a difficult time trying to adjust to this change of scenery, both for myself and for my students. These items have helped create small part of our classroom at home. The desk has helped me have more room. It allows me to stand, and have more energy for my students.
The keyboard and mouse have helped so much in being able to give typed feedback to my students. The headphones have helped me hear my students so much better! I am able to hear them clearly and vice versa. I am able to move around with the wireless headphones and still be able to hear my students. I will use the pegboard to put up vocab lists, math problems, and decorations to help my students feel welcomed at home. These materials have been so helpful.”

Funded Nov 24, 2020I am so incredibly grateful for this donation. I am so excited during read aloud, because I know my students are going to be engaged. They can finally see characters that look and sound like them.
It has been such a difficult time with all the hate that is happening in the world, that these books are like a breath of fresh air. So far my students' questions have been answered during our read a loud time.
I have noticed that the students have been more excited to ask questions because they can relate to the plot. I have been using these books for social emotional learning while also going over ELA standards. Thank you so much. These books are amazing.”
