"The true meaning of life is to plant trees, under whose shade you do not expect to sit." Nelson Henderson. I am a seed planter, but the beauty is that my students are also seed planters. My classroom is a place for students to fall in love with reading, writing, and learning. A place where we embrace struggle and work as a community to continue growing. I encourage students to build on their strengths see everything in life as a learning opportunity. I can't take my students around the world, but the closest I can get is reading with them and encouraging their exploration as individual readers. Through characters we learn empathy, and by planting that seed, they will bloom in the real world.
