If you look around a 3rd grade classroom, you will see lots of movement and activity. The students like to be active and teachers like them to be engaged. Having some flexible seating options will bring movement and engagement together.
With multiple seating options, my students will be able to read, work and stay engaged at different places in my classroom. Students can take their books, laptops or a clipboard to a quiet place for their best learning. After giving a lesson, students will be able to move to a spot in the room that best fits their learning style.
