Most of the children in my classroom have markers of dyslexia. Therefore, they need materials that will incorporate 3D objects, hands-on activities and multisensory items to increase learning. These materials will be used to practice locking in their learning, work on skills in literacy stations, and increase the active engagement in learning for all students. The students can practice their words on the touch board, stamp them out using the playdough stamps, or sort objects by their sounds using the phonemic awareness boxes. These activities will be engaging, inviting and increase the excitement of learning in my classroom.
