A classroom is a home away from home. For some of my students, the classroom is their safe place. It is a place of stability and love. I want to also make it as inviting and warm as possible. I chose an array of bright and colorful seating options. I plan to use beanbags in my library and the individual seating cushions for students in my reading groups. I chose wobble chairs to give my students a variety of seating options. I have been an educator for 17 years, and my materials are just old and worn. I want my children to come in on the first day happy and excited about kindergarten. I also want them to feel it is a place they will be comfortable and learn. I feel with these supplies, I can make my classroom more safe and comfortable for my students.
