As the expectations have changed for kindergartners to learn more and more, it is important to remember that they are still just five and six years old. They need to learn, play, socialize and have fun! Movement breaks and the need to move while learning, are a vital part of helping these young kiddos become successful learners. These ball chairs will help my students build posture and core strength, balance skills, and be able to get those little bits of movement out that they need while they are in small group. I have two small group tables, one for me and one for my assistant, so I need twelve chairs total (six for each table). My kiddos are in small groups three hours a day, so these ball chairs would be an exciting and crucial part of their everyday learning experience!
