My students need four headphones, and 1 CD players for our Daily Listening Center which will allow them to hear quality stories.Our daily literacy block includes time for students to make choices about what activities they would like to practice further. Each day, they can visit the writing center, word work center, book corner, or listening center. Students LOVE the listening center. This center allows our students to hear excellent reading models of quality literature. This is of particular benefit to our English Language Learners. My students need four headphones, 1 CD players, for our Daily Listening Center which will allow them to hear quality stories while reading along. It helps students build comprehension skills and learn to work independently. Donations to this project will allow us to have a listening center that operates smoothly with quality materials, thus fewer chances of the teacher (me) being interrupted while teaching small groups.
