My students are in need of Wobble Stools so that they can have an effective guided reading and math time. This is a critical time during our day where I am able to work with a small group of students in order to work on reading/math strategies that they will then be able to go and use independently so that they become fluent and skilled readers and mathematicians. My goal is to use flexible seating in order to keep my students motivated and excited during their guided reading and math time. In order for my students to be successful, they need the chance to move around and get their wiggles out while learning. These Wobble Stools will allow students to stay in one place, and make their learning more meaningful to them.
