  • Remote School Therapy

    Funded Dec 7, 2020

We are so grateful for your donations. With these supplies we were able to do all types of fun arts and crafts projects remotely. My students had the ability to follow along step-by-step through a birds-eye view with my second camera held by the phone stand. The desk pad served as a blank backdrop to eliminate unwanted visual distractions and see all materials clearly. The students made crafts for holiday's and seasons that their proud parents were able to hang up and enjoy in their homes. The parents have been very please with this upgrade in remote therapy services.”

  • Remote Learning Supplies for a Child in Need

    Funded May 8, 2020

Thank you so very much for your generous donation. These basic supplies that were donated have truly made a large impact on a special child's life. Having these supplies has allowed my special needs student the ability to work on hand strengthening, manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, visual motor, and visual perceptual skills through various multi-sensory activities from home through remote tele-therapy sessions. While we continue to face many barriers with remote therapy, we will continue to use these materials that will help us tremendously in making progress towards therapy goals.”

We are tremendously grateful for your generous donations. Our students love using the supplies and have been able to work in a much more organized space in the therapy room. • Basic Supplies for Special Kids

    Funded Sep 7, 2018

Thank you so much for donating to our basic supplies project. Our students are using all of the supplies to help them during therapy sessions.

My students are able to practice executive functioning skills by keeping materials organized with our paper and paper shelf. They create visual schedules with the standard pocket chart that hold our picture cards. Their favorite new item from this project are the tempera paint sticks that are used to work on motor coordination skills. They have used them to create some beautiful artwork.

    Many thanks!tempera”

  • Safe Therapy Floor

    Funded Aug 23, 2018

Thank you so much for your donations toward making our school therapy classroom a safe space for students. We have added the tumble mat and ramp to the center of the therapy room. Its bright colors are so inviting and the students are eager to play and work on the mats.

We can now do weight-bearing and balancing activities. These activities are important to get the students prepared to learn in school. We have made sensorimotor obstacle courses in which the kids can roll across the mat, crawl up the ramp, jump off the trampoline, crash into our beanbags, and wheelbarrow-walk across the mats; all ways to help make stronger bodies! Again, thank you for your generosity.”
