Can You Hear Me Now?
Funded Jan 18, 2021Thank you so much for helping to fund the headphones for our class. The ones we had previously were old and falling apart, with some sides not working. The new headphones are comfortable and sturdy and allowed students to work in class without disturbing others. They also allowed for students at home to Zoom in with an in-class partner without interfering with the audio.
The students were very excited when they were delivered and were even more excited to see that each of them would have their own set of headphones. It was important for the students to have their own headphones as we were unable to share materials during the more unstable times of COVID precautions.
It is with your support we were able to have such a successful year!”

Rocking Remote Learning
Funded Sep 1, 2020The school year is in full swing and we are working hard everyday to tackle the challenges of hybrid remote learning. Students were SO excited to receive their materials. It made them feel special and proud of their work spaces. We had a great time in class while each student personalized their display boards with their names and stickers and other items.
One of the biggest challenges for at home students is feeling that they are in school and have a way to feel focused and centered in their space. The private office display boards have been pivotal to the students at home in creating the work spaces with all the materials they need.
When I am at school instructing the at home learnings to get out X, I see them quickly accessing their materials. They show me they have their whiteboard sleeves and are ready for math. This have been essential during our multiplication unit as I have many support materials they use with the sleeves.
The book stands have also been a HUGE help to students. It is difficult to manage materials and a screen at the same time. Students prop up their journals to facilitate writing their work on Google Classroom. However, another student has used it to help prop up their iPad to make using it easier. I love when the students find ways to use it that I had never anticipated.”
With gratitude,
Ms. Fuller
