  • Comfort in the Classroom

    Funded Apr 7, 2021

Thank you so much for donating the chairs to our classroom. The students were so excited to use them during small groups this school year. It was a comfortable place for them to sit when they wanted to read a book or complete an activity.

The students were so excited to use the chairs during reading groups! I only had a few for students to use so this helped with more flexible seating in the classroom.

I am looking to get a TPT gift card donated. I moved to 5th grade this year and I have already used a lot of my resources with the students I had in 4th grade last year and they are moving up with me.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Logsdon

  • So Fresh and So Cool, Cool

    Funded Apr 7, 2021

Thank you so much for your donation to our classroom. When the students come in from recess or it is just a hot day in the classroom, the fan and the dehumidifier are really helpful.

The students were so excited to know that we would now have 2 resources to help keep us cool during the hot months of the year. Where we live, it can be humid and/or hot for most of the year.

I am looking into getting a TPT giftcard next to help with materials for lessons. I really think it will benefit my students since I have moved to a new grade level and some of the students have already seen a lot of the materials and lessons I used for reading last year.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Logsdon

  • When Performance Matters

    Funded Dec 17, 2020

Thank you so much for your generous donation to our classroom community! The new lap top has come in handy during virtual learning with the students on ZOOM.

The new lap top has made it easier to navigate through websites, stay connected on ZOOM, and share videos at a faster speed. The students truly appreciate the faster videos!

A current classroom project I have planned is for a fan and a dehumidifier to cleanse the air and cool the room. I also have a project in the works, but not yet posted, for flexible seating so the students can have a comfortable place to work while also social distancing.

    Thanks again!”

  • Grow the Grinch's Heart!

    Funded Dec 1, 2020

Thank you so much for your generous donation to our classroom community! The extra technology has come in handy during virtual learning with the students on ZOOM.

I shared the news with my students on ZOOM and they seemed genuinely thankful and relieved that I would have trustworthy technology to stay connected in the best way possible with them.

  • Protect the Kids!

    Funded Nov 16, 2020

Thank you so much for your generous donation to our classroom community! Students can now feel safe and clean once they return to the classroom in just a few days.

I shared the materials with the students on ZOOM and they seemed genuinely thankful and relieved that we would have personal protective equipment for our classroom.

  • Merry Little Christmas Party

    Funded Nov 11, 2020

The students thoroughly enjoyed the goodies for our Christmas Party. I was able to send them through the mail so that they could use them while we watched a movie together over ZOOM. They used them during our Christmas Party before Christmas Break.

They LOVED the little animal erasers and quite a few made their hot chocolate during class or before. The sunglasses were a HIT! We all wore them together during virtual learning.

Students will be going back to in-person learning soon and the teachers at my school will be teaching hybrid (half virtual and half in-person.) It is definitely going to be challenging for everyone involved. My next project will be chairs for the students to use to sit somewhere else besides their desks while they learn at a distance from another student. Thanks again for funding the project for the kids!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Logsdon

  • Write It! Share It! Erase It!

    Funded Aug 14, 2020

I ordered this rug in hopes that when we return to the classroom, the students will be able to use it to sit comfortably in groups. Right now, our classroom rug is stained, old, and a better fit for younger students. I will be very excited to see it in use once we return from virtual school to in person instruction.

I did share the rug with them on ZOOM and they were very happy and excited to know they would have this as part of their classroom once we return in person. We are all hoping that day will come sooner rather than later. I am happy that our district is taking the proper measures to make sure we are safe during this unprecedented time.

My students will be using this rug during their reading groups when we return to school. We will make sure everyone is socially distant and safe while it is in use. Students will be able to play games, complete activities, and assignments all while sitting or laying comfortably.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Logsdon

  • June Jamboree

    Funded May 29, 2020

The students loved the goodies they received from all of you. They had a hard time deciding which balloon animal they wanted because there were so many to choose from! The students looked like they had just walked into a carnival. We wanted to give the kids some kind of celebration since we were unable to have a party in the classroom. They were so excited! This was the end of the year, so this was our last project for this group. Thank you again for helping us put a smile on the kids faces during this uncertain time! Stay safe!”

  • Supply the Classroom!

    Funded Jan 23, 2020

It warms my heart that there are people out there like you. Thank you so much for your interest in helping the students here at Crossroads school! They will be excited to hear this great news! The supplies that were donated by you will definitely be put to good use!”

    With gratitude,

The students in my class love to learn. The majority of my students do come from a low income community. They struggle to have the supplies they need to succeed in the classroom. These extra supplies would help them with their assignments as well as boost morale in the classroom. The students would benefit greatly by having crayons, markers, glue sticks, and scissors to complete assignments and to do their very best work. The copy paper will be used for activities the students will complete as well as printing assignments for the students to complete. To be able to receive these gifts and see the joy on the children's faces would be amazing!
