These books sets will be used in two ways. First, we will use these books to increase reading comprehension. Students will work together in small groups to read these books and dive into the literature. I already have activities to go along with the stories. Students will be required to communicate with each other and be challenged to think at higher levels. These books sets will not only increase student comprehension, but they will also add diversity to their lives. These titles introduce students to the power of literacy and how people around the world access books. Students will experience the extraordinary lengths to which some people go in order to access the power and privilege of reading.
