It is estimated that approximately 11% of children from 4-17 (6.4 million) have been diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder. Even more then that will show signs of focusing difficulties. Research shows that movement helps children with ADHD to focus. ADHD students are typically wiggly and fidgety. Activity pedals and wobble cushions will allow them to be in motion without distracting the other students. The pedals and cushions will allow them to channel their excessive energy while being able to quietly focus on and participate in lessons. I was able to borrow a set of these pedals last year for a student and saw first hand how effective they are in the classroom!
