Our students' families have difficulty buying the basic school supplies needed. Crayons, folders, the things we take for granted, almost become a hindrance for our kiddos. So asking our parents to give their child an additional $5.50, which is the cost for a student subscription for Scholastic News, can be impossible for some. Scholastic News for kids is a daily magazine (newspaper) that is filled with articles about current events, the latest discovery about space, how to tell the difference between an alligator and a crocodile, or where the President's dog sits when they travel. This is important to know!
