  • Today's Reader, Tomorrow's Leader!

    Funded Mar 27, 2018

Thank you sooo much for funding our project. Although it may seem like just books, you have impacted our students lives. Thanks to your generosity our students will have books on their level to read and thrive. This will help us instill the love of reading in our students. We appreciate all you did for our class.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. DiROsa

  • Banking On Our Kids Who Need A "Kidney" Shaped Table

    Funded Oct 16, 2017

I would like to sincerely Thank You for supporting not just this project but the students in our class.

I can't begin to tell you how much we appreciate your donation. The "kidney" table has been an added bonus to our classroom. Now we have a space to conduct small group instruction. It gives our students a space to work in a small group and have the teacher's full attention for that time.

The table arrived a week ago. We set it up while the students were at lunch. When they came back from lunch the looks on their faces were priceless. They all ran to the table to touch it. The room rang with excitement. Everyone wanted to work there.

The table has allowed us to give the students the space they need, a place to work quietly. We use the table with every lesson. Since this is an ICT classroom we are always parallel teaching, (teaching the same lesson at a different level at the same time). It has helped us optimize our classroom space and ultimately meet the needs of our students.

Your donation has also led to a very important discussion about giving. My students were touch by your generosity and are using that as an example to "give" as well. At times it a small gesture like giving someone a pencil to giving them a snack at lunch.

Once again thank you so much for your generous donation. The support you have extended my classroom is deeply appreciated.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. DiROsa

Our auditory learners will do wonderful with a listening center. This will support their reading. The bean bags will make our reading centers more comfortable for our special needs students with sensory issues. The privacy shields are going to help our students with focusing issues help them stay on task. The book baggies will help our students organize their supplies especially their reading books. The teaching table can help us pull a small group for direct instructions. Supplying our classroom will help support my students learning. Hopefully these items will motivate the students and enhance their learning. Our ICT class needs the supplies to help us differentiate their learning.
