Thank you so much for your incredible generosity in funding our classroom project! When my high school students saw the Nintendo-themed LEGO sets and Super Mario plush toys for the first time, their reactions were nothing short of magical. There were cheers, laughter, and so many wide-eyed smiles as they eagerly dove into the materials. Many of them immediately started assembling LEGO creations, sharing strategies and excitement over the intricate designs.

These materials have transformed our learning space into an interactive and dynamic environment where students can express themselves and build connections with their peers. The LEGO sets have become a gateway for teamwork and problem-solving, while the Super Mario plushes have inspired storytelling and imaginative play. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for making this possible and for believing in the power of education and creativity!”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Gonzales

Thank you for your kind and generous support of our project requesting aid to attend the NYC Empire Mock Trial Tournament. Over the course of this journey our team has put in over 100 hours of practice preparing for this tournament. Together, the team was able to prepare a strong argument for both the prosecution and defense side and compete with schools from around the world. I cannot begin to tell you how much we appreciate your generosity and kindness!

This opportunity allowed them to make friends with other team members from around the world. Their great sportsmanship was acknowledged during the award ceremony when they received the Peter Myers Spirit of Empire Award for outstanding sportsmanship and professionalism during the tournament. Thank you for choosing our classroom to support our Mock Trial team! Your support truly made a difference to our kids.”

    With gratitude,

    Mr. Gonzales

My students have been accepted into the Empire Mock Trial World Championship in NYC in the fall. We meet starting the first week in July and work throughout the summer to prepare for an event that helps create effective 21st-century learners. The students speak extemporaneously throughout the competition about the impact of chemicals on our environment because of the fact pattern, which consists of the fact that a construction company allowed a condominium complex to be built on ground containing Trichloroethylene contamination. The trip will allow our students to network with other students from all over the world. This event will help our students sharpen their persuasive speaking skills through analyzation of a fictitious fact pattern to pick pertinent information and formulate a strategy on a position. This year's case deals with environmental contamination on a construction site that affected the inhabitants of the community. The team will take the roles of plaintiff and defense lawyers competing on a national level with students from all over the world.
