In my class we use glue sticks on a daily basis. We use them for everything from projects in science about Georgia's habitats, to making trees to represent the branches of government, to being able to create our interactive journals for every subject. Life-long literacy is a huge goal for me. Having more books readily available for my students to read will be a huge help for them. These book series will not only promote literacy, they are excellent at covering any different areas that kids are interested in. These books will be a huge asset to getting my students more motivated to read, and give them a few great series to start reading as well.
