My students love to be read to, but many shy away from independent reading as they struggle in the area of fluency. By having multiple copies of high interest, age appropriate novels, my students will be able to experience the joy of reading as a group. The positive group experiences will increase their interest in reading and they will be more likely to spend more time reading on their own. Your generous donation to our classroom will help our students become life-long readers. The books that you supply will be used daily in our classroom as the base of novel studies and cross-curricular units and will help our students to achieve the standards that will make them college and career ready.
