    Thank you so much for your generous donation. Many schools in New York City do not have air conditioning units, making it unbearable for students and teachers. Your donation allowed students and myself to feel more comfortable in a classroom where the humidity is often uncomfortable for students who have asthma and allergies. The air conditioning unit also takes out the humidity in the room cleaning the allergens and pollen from the atmosphere. Thanks again Donors Choose for supporting my classroom once again!”

  • Fire Tablets for Generation Next!

    Thank you so much for your generous donations. My students are now able to read books, do research and play games on the tablets. My students have been able to read books that are on their level and make connections to other books using the tablets. Struggling students have been able to play math and phonics games to increase their scores.

    The printer allows me to print out work and assessments for my students. Without a printer in the classroom I had to go to a separate location to print. I also was not allowed to print a lot of materials for my students. Now I am able print what is needed for the students immediately. The printer saves time and enhances instruction.

    The tablets are also a great way to keep students engaged. The entire class is excited about using the tablets and the printer in the classroom.
