Funded Dec 16, 2020Thank you for your generous contribution to my project, "The Air We Breathe Should Be Safe and Clean." Keeping a classroom clean of germs is always a top priority when you work in a school where the windows can't open and there is very little ventilation. During the COVID era this has become an even more important issue. Thanks to the Honeywell Air Purifier I received, I was able to purify the air in my classroom despite the poor ventilation in the room. This allowed my little students to breathe safe and clean air.”

Funded Dec 17, 2021Thank you for your generous contribution to my project, "A Clean Classroom For Little Hands." Keeping a classroom clean of germs is always a top priority when you work with little students who love to touch everything in their sight. During the COVID era this has become an even more important issue. Thanks to the Lysol Disinfectant Spray I received, I was able to spray all the surfaces in my classroom to keep them clean of germs. This ensures that the different toys they touch are germ free and will help them learn and develop!”

Funded Aug 31, 2020My students, parents, and I would like to thank you very much for your generous donations to my project. Working in a Title I school, our families don't always have the means necessary to provide their children with all the school supplies needed. With the COVID-19 pandemic effecting so many people, this year has put a large financial strain on so many. Your support has really lightened this difficulty for my families.
The material in my project have allowed my students to have their very own bin with their personal art supplies. The markers, crayons, pencils, water colors are free of other students germs. In addition, each student also received a baggie full of these art supplies as well as a Draw & Write Journal to take home so they can have on their remote days where they are learning from home. Again, I thank you with all my heart!”

Funded Aug 24, 2020I would like to thank you all very much for your kind contributions. With your help, my classroom now has a decent size refrigerator where food and drinks can be stored for my students.
Some of my students eat breakfast at home before coming to school and bring their lunch from home, leaving us with those students breakfast and lunch uneaten. Normally, these meals would be thrown out. However, I also have many students who depend on the meals served in school. For some, the breakfast and lunch the eat at school are their only meals of the day.
With our new refrigerator, rather than throwing away the uneaten food, it can be stored for the students to take home with them. This is especially special on a Friday afternoon when I can send extra food home with them for the weekend. Being able to fill their stomachs warms my heart and we have all of you to thank!”

Graduation Smiles!
Funded Jun 13, 2020After the unusual school year we have had, your generous donations allowed my students to receive an amazing end of the year gift. We organized a Trunk & Treat event, where I decorated my car trunk in a Summer Fun theme. In order to abide to social distance regulations, each student had an assigned time where they came to the event and received their Pre-Kindergarten Certificate, Class Award, and your donations that put a smile on their face! With all the limitations put on us with this pandemic, at least they were rewarded with a "Bucket Full Of Fun" with items that will help them develop their skills in literacy, their fine and gross motor skills, and their imagination all while having fun! In addition, your kindness allowed me the opportunity to organize this special event where I was able to see my babies' beautiful faces again, and THAT PUT A SMILE ON MY FACE!”

Easy Access To Reading!
Funded Oct 10, 2017I am greatly grateful for your support in fulling my classroom project. My goal is to instill a love for reading in all my students. With your help, my students will now be able to have their reading books accessible to them at all times without cluttering up their desks.
A rule in my classroom is, once you finish your assigned work, you are to take out a reading book and read until everyone else is finished. Now all they have to do is grab a book out of their Book Pocket which is attached to the back of their chair. The Book Pocket not only gave students easy accessibility to their reading books, but has also eliminated the clutter of book bins on their desks.”
