I want to put a charging station in both my self-contained special education classroom and in my team taught classroom. Last year was the first year of school-issued Chromebooks. Many of my students came to school with the device not adequately charged for the day. Having a classroom charging station will ensure that my students always have the ability to charge their school issued Chromebooks regardless of their home situation. Having equal access to technology will aid my students in meeting the needs of the 21st century classroom. I want my students to be able to meet their full potential and be able to use education as a stepping stone for the future.
