By providing my students with various types of book in our classroom library, they will be able to easily explore many genres. To help implement reading and writing workshop, students will be engaged with these books on a daily basis. They will spend most of their class time reading independently in order to utilize various reading strategies. Developing a passion for reading and providing students with the tools they need to become lifelong readers is my goal as a literacy teacher. I want to allow my students to explore as many books as they can while in school and help them find a book that is just right for them.

About my class
