At five years old, kindergartners need to be presented time to explore with their peers through play. I will be able to create centers where each student will have that opportunity. The Magna-Tiles and Engineer Set are examples where my students can create many things and present a perfect opportunity for students to work together. In kindergarten, my students will have the chance to be race car drivers, chefs, engineers, nurses and countless others things. Geared with their imaginations and these materials, my kindergartners will explore, learn and socialize with their peers. By socializing and working together, my students will build friendships that will make school a safe place to be even when they are facing challenges at home.
