ETK Movin' & Groovin'
Funded Aug 3, 2021Thank you so much for your generosity. These materials helped us start back in the classroom after some of the most difficult years due to COVID. We needed to make adjustments to follow school guidelines for keeping our kids as safe as possible and these butterfly seats and cushioned helped us do just that. We weren't allowed to use our normal squared rug that holds up to 30 students, we had to go with options that created more space. These seats/ cushions were the perfect size and light enough for the students to easily take out and put away. The sofa added a cute, homey feel into our classroom library where our students love to hang out, as well as take breaks. Our students loved the new additions to the classroom.”

ETK Exploration
Funded Jun 28, 2021Thank you so much for your continued support of me and my classroom. We are so lucky to have so many people who value education and are willing to donate to our future. My students are loving our dress up station. They are so fun to watch during pretend play. They live using the little camping set with a tent and lanterns. The logs and trunks trail is so fun to do outdoors. We are also really enjoying the Scholastic Magazines. We have learned about apples and pumpkins. The online resources are really great as well. Keeps kids engaged and makes learning fun. We appreciate you!”

Let's go Digital!
Funded Jan 19, 2021Thank you so much for your kind donations. Education is so important and your kindness is what our world needs. Purchasing from Teachers Pay Teachers made distance learning so much more meaningful. We, my students and I, had access to digital files that I could not have created on my own. This year was the hardest of my career and it took a toll on my students but one of my favorite files purchased with this giftcard was my social emotional daily check in journal. It allowed for me to connect with my students in a deeper way. They could fill out one page each morning and then share it with me and their peers. Wishing you all the best! Thanks again.”

Together but Apart!
Funded Aug 4, 2020There aren't enough words to describe how this project helped me with distance teaching and my students with distance learning. They had every single thing they needed.
I was able to provide them with more then just paper, pencils and pens. They recieved art backpacks with a sketchbook, markers, colored pencils, oil pastels, water color paints and a permanent marker. They were also given math manipulative bins with dominoes, tape measures, rulers, multiplication cards, dice and a rubix cube.
None of these things would have been possible without you. I was able to cover all subjects without any students saying they didn't have what they needed and that felt pretty good.”

Our Room Goes Digital!
Funded Aug 10, 2020Thank you so much! If I could reach through my screen to hug you, I would. The materials I got for this project were exactly what we need to survive this distance learning in a pandemic.
The gift card for teacherspayteachers allowed me to purchase so many activities that were distance friendly. Making new documents is very time consuming and this really made sharing ideas so much easier.
The Scholastic articles and Science Spin magazines really have brought Social Studies, Science and current events to life in my classroom. The students love them!”

Funded Mar 6, 2020Thank you so much for all of your love and support. My students now have access to so many more books. At a time like this, when things are really hard, it's important to come together. Telling my students about the books we received made them so excited. I can't wait to have a new group of students to enjoy them, as with COVID, they are just being used by me at this time.
I appreciate you valuing education and helping me foster a love for reading in my classroom. These are the newest titles and interests for my kiddos.”

Funded Oct 22, 2019Our classroom centers are so much more fun with Osmos! We love what they add to the use of our iPads. Students are able to learn through drawing, make puzzles and solving mysteries. We are coming up on learning about fractions and can't wait to add the fractions pizza game to the list of games. The more we use them, the more my students become tech savvy which is so important these days. Without people like you, giving back to our schools and communities, these extra opportunities wouldn't be possible.”

Funded Oct 1, 2019Thank you so much for believing in room 31 and contributing to our success. The materials we received help us on a daily basis. We use the poster paper to work in groups and present our math skills to our classmates. We use the expo markers on a daily basis to complete our "word of the day" activity, as well as when we are doing English Language Development lessons. The testing boards help us stay on task during assessments as well as independent work time. We are so excited to have all of these useful materials in our classroom. Thank you again!”

Funded Sep 18, 2019We are so excited to have Scholastic Readers with the added Science Spin in our classroom! We just received our first one and learned all about how dolphins help the US Navy complete missions and keep us safe. These weekly readers will help us learn, grow and touch on all the standards required for third grade. Not only are these magazines great for learning and practicing our reading skills, but they offer an online connection where we can watch videos, answer questions and complete the lesson in a more interactive way. If it weren't for you, this would not have been possible. Thank you so much!”

A Fresh Start in Our Room
Funded Aug 13, 2019Room 31 is so thankful for your kind donations to our classroom. Our room is looking so neat and organized because of you. Our Cricut has made name labels for all our pencil boxes, as well as the lettering for our doors. It will continue to add to our classroom decor as the year goes on. We have been using our highlights for close reading, glue sticks for when we are feeling artsy and most importantly our mouse devices/ headphones during technology time. We feel so lucky to have people like you contributing to education.”
