• Headphones in Room 3!

  You have no idea how happy my students were to each receive their own over the ear headphones as well as earbuds! We are so grateful and will use them every day. It has already changed our quiet Chromebook time. They are all working and can stay focused. Thank you so much for choosing our project to donate to. Without people and companies like yours, I wouldn't be as successful in the classroom as I am!   Thank you so much for you generous contribution to our class project. Scholastic Magazines are great as a supplemental resource in the classroom. They are engaging and add fun learning opportunities. Not only do we get the printed article but we get all the online resources Scholastic has to offer. These will be used for lesson both in and out of the classroom. The magazines are perfect for homework, it helps families become more involved with current events and presents new topics of exploration. I am so excited to get started with these. Thanks again!”

• Cool for Back to School!

  Thank you for you support and generous donations! Our classroom is such a better place to learn and grow because of you. With such limited funding it is hard to keep up with materials children like and are engaged with.

  The jumbo blocks really keep them entertained for long periods of time. It helps their communication skills with their peers and allows them to be creative. We play outdoors a lot so the magnetic blocks, busy boards and other learning tools really keep them active.

  All these options in our classroom really help include learners of all kinds stay engaged and motivated. Thank you so much again!”

• Learning Outdoors!

  Thank you for your kind donations to our project. Having tables outdoors made our end of the year playtime much easier. These tables have been folded up and stored away for next school year and it is so exciting to have your support in Room One's success and learning.

  The jumbo dinosaurs, animals and insects were a huge hit in our indoor and outdoor play. Students were able to explore them in our sensory bins. They learned how to sort them back into groups as well as experience play with their peers, which is hard to do for some of our students.

  All of the materials in this project, that you helped fund, allow my students more experiences. They help build language, promote peer play and encourage them to try new things.

  You are appreciated and I would not be able to give my students the absolute best without your help!”

• In TK We Learn Through Play!

  Thank you so much for your support of myself and my students. We benefit so much from Donors Choose projects and they wouldn't be funded or possible without you. The photo dock helps us print pictures of the kids for special holidays, as well as gifts for their parents. The scoop chairs allow students to choose where the read or take some time for themselves, being flexible with UTK students is so important. The water table is used all the time, not only for water play but with sand and other sensory items for my students to learn and explore with. We are so grateful for you and your belief in education.”

• We Learn Through Play

  Your love and support for education is greatly appreciated. Without donations to our classroom my students wouldn't have so many wonderful experiences learning through play. The fun playhouse was added to our outdoor play area and the microwave, farm stand and pretend kitchen items made the perfect addition to our indoor kitchen area. My students come from diverse backgrounds, most of them speak Spanish as their 1st language and I really get to see their language grow and expand when playing I'm centers with all the fun toys I have been able to collect from people just like you. The new things we recieve brought smiles to their faces and were very popular for the rest of the school year. Thank you again.”
