Flexible seating is a great way to help students feel more comfortable in the classroom. There are many different options for flexible seating but the ones I've found the kids enjoy best are yoga balls and wobble chairs. They are items that the kids really enjoy using, while at the same time not realizing that they are specifically designed to help the kids stay focused and achieve more. Flexible seating is the best way to help kindergarteners enjoy school and being in the classroom. Having these options will make our class much more exciting and will improve the social/emotional health of students as well as improve classroom behavior.
