  • Sensory Area

    Funded Jun 26, 2024

Thank you for your generosity and kindness. Your contribution will impact the lives of all my scholars in ways you can't even imagine. Wellness is key. Your gift allows me to create a safe place that caters to the mental wellness of my scholars. They will have an opportunity to mediate, doing breathing exercises, and use other resources to regulate or refocus themselves so that they can have the best learning experience possible. Thank you again for sowing into my scholars!”

    With gratitude,

    Ms. Clark

Thank you so much for your donation! The fourth grade students of Bryant Elementary School and I are very appreciative of this. Your donation will provide all of my students with a simple tool for success, a pencil! My students work hard and my only wish is that they have what they need to grow and eventually RULE THE WORLD! Your donation brings them closer to their DREAMS and for this I am so grateful! Thank you again!”

"I woke myself up Because we ain’t got an alarm clock Dug in the dirty clothes basket, Cause ain’t nobody washed my uniform Brushed my hair and teeth in the dark, Cause the lights ain’t on Even got my baby sister ready, Cause my mama wasn’t home. Got us both to school on time, To eat us a good breakfast. Then when I got to class the teacher fussed Cause I ain’t got no pencil" -Joshua T. Dickerson This poem is a reflection of the life of many of the scholars I serve. They push through despite all their adversities and make it to school everyday. They might not have a pencil but they have the mindset to learn. Many of my scholars lack the resources they need at home to continue their learning. Providing scholars with something as simple as a pencil and box of crayons would allow for a great learning experience.
