Research has shown that lighting has an impact on students' abilities to concentrate, see clearly, and even concentrate in the classroom. Light filters would help reduce glare, create color balance, and help with visual fatigue. My hope is that this will help increase my students' reading abilities. Students need options for movement while sitting. The stability cushions allow students to wiggle while adding some comfort to the desks. The ability to have movement during seated activities would lead to more on task behavior and less disruptions. Having less disruptions means we spend more time reading and visiting new worlds and cultures.
