Let's face it, students have a hard to focusing these days, whether it's because they are digital babies or struggling so they don't want to engage. If I can make my students feel physically comfortable in my classroom then they are more likely to focus mentally. The chairs I am requesting will provide them with comfort to focus on their learning without being distracted by their environment. The chairs have been recommended based on several criteria. First, it helps with their posture. If students are slumped down in a traditional classroom chair or aren't able to comfortably pull up to the table their focus is already elsewhere. This leads me to the next criteria-focus. The wobble chairs allow for knees, legs, and feet to fall comfortably in a natural position which will lead to better focus. The wobble chairs allow for continuous motion of their extremities that helps their brain stay engage on the activity at hand. The chairs are safe and designed to prevent tipping over so even though there is continuous movement it won't be a safety issue.
