These materials will make a great difference by providing students with an additional instrumental experience. Students will have the opportunity to perform in front of parents and the community, have a more in-depth study of music reading skills and will support reading and math skills. We presently provide the opportunity to play recorders and bucket drums and adding the opportunity of playing guitar will not only provide a musical experience, but also supports reading and artistic expression. Students will develop musical reading skills that can carry on into middle school level band and/or orchestra. We are so excited about presenting our guitar lab this year!
