My kindergarten students will need a variety of STEM activities made available to them on a daily basis. During free exploration, students will be provided access to science, technology, engineering, art, and math. To do this the students need STEM manipulatives to work with. Products for building, creating, and exploring will provided to students to explore so that they participate in hands on experiences that they need in order to support their learning. Kindergarten students will benefit greatly from having access everyday to STEM materials, including coding activities with the code and go robot mouse and the fisher price code-a -pillar, as well as other opportunities to engineer and build with magnetic blocks, straws, and other hands on materials and activities. Science is so interesting, I hope to activate the students interest with the 4D shark, microscopes, and plasma ball. The flexible seating that the balance ball chairs will provide with be great in supporting all students need for movement. These items are essential to the 21st century learners. Kindergarten students learn through play so providing them with fun opportunities also allows students to communicate and collaborate with their peers thus fostering their academic and socio emotional growth well.
