While my students are experiencing a wide variety of art mediums, I also want them to experience art in a studio environment. Stools will allow my students to access supplies with greater ease. It will also increase cooperative learning as it allows for greater movement to turn and talk with their shoulder partner and for tracking the teacher during instruction or demonstration. Stools make it easier for students to see different areas around the room without having to readjust their chairs. As students work on different projects, more students can be grouped together to work on similar projects. When students need to move around, the stools will take up less space for ease of movement. Stools will also decrease students' temptation to lean back on chairs and falling while trying to balance on two legs since the stools are heavy duty.
