The goal of our project is to provide an atmosphere that inspires the spirit and challenges the mind. Our goal can be achieved through age appropriate materials that support growth and development in all areas. Our school's resources are limited and funds are low, but we have managed successfully to reach our educational goals. The supplies requested are to help support the learning process. Our supplies would provide support in all areas of growth and development. These supplies would ensure that our children have various choices to stimulate their mind. There are many activities that can develop through the materials listed. In order for you to get an idea of how the materials selected will support our project goal, here is a brief summary. The desk will be used for our students during their computer time. The Love Seat will provide a comfortable space for the children during their time in the library where the children enjoy new books, favorite books and those they have created themselves. The Listening Center will support our literacy goals and encourage group and individual reading. Our class selection of audio books and books for the library help build language and communication skills. The doll and doll clothes help our classroom support diversity awareness within our class.
