During the hot summer months, it is often so hot that it is hard to focus on learning. They sweat, they need water and the whole thing is terribly sad for us all. Having an air conditioner in my room would make the summer months at least bearable. We are just nearing June and have had 2 almost 90 degree days and my classroom is so hot its hard to stay indoors. I have the windows open, the lights off and a fan going but its not enough- This afternoon I plan on teaching outside. Taking students on water breaks is interrupting my teaching!
