We would like to expand our literacy experiences in the classroom by expanding our library options. We would like to add an additional library bookshelf in our classroom to create more opportunity for book exploration. We have a small collection of books but nowhere to display them. They are currently either in storage or kept in a milk crate where they continue to get damaged or destroyed because children are unable to access them easily. We would also like to add additional literacy opportunities for different types of learners. We have children from many backgrounds throughout the building but our classroom has a Hispanic population. We would like to add interactive stories to help them feel comfortable in the classroom.
