"Reading is the passport to countless adventures." -Mary Pope Osborn I am asking for donations to fund a summer reading program for my striving readers. Students in my school come from diverse backgrounds and cultures, many are below grade level in reading. 70% of families come from low-income households. Our goal is to get engaging and enjoyable books into our student's hands for the summer to prevent summer slide. Due to Covid-19, we are unable to have our district book drive that typically gets books in students' hands. By donating, you will be helping students go on countless reading adventures from their own homes this summer.
