Flexible Seating in Kindergarten

Thank you so much for your donation! We are so excited to have flexible seating in our kindergarten classroom. When the students visited our classroom for the first time at "Meet the Teacher" night, they were drawn to the wobble stools and yoga balls. They started experimenting with the seating options right away.

On the first day of school, the students couldn't wait to work at their new spaces. We reviewed the rules about how to sit on the wobble stools and how to sit on the yoga balls. The students took to these options immediately. The were able to choose what seat worked for them. I've never seen a group of students get to work so quickly on the first day of school!
