EAGLE scholars attend a culturally and economically diverse Title I charter school located in the middle of a cotton field in Arizona. We stress character education here, and the students take this to heart. They are exceptionally caring and kind to one another, and if students sense a bully, they work with the teachers to solve the issue. They feel free to express themselves in the caring environment they've helped create. They just collected over $1,500 for Pennies for Patients to help children with leukemia, and they sent over 40 packages to servicemen and women in Afghanistan on Veteran's Day. And these kids love to read! They roar through the books in our small, yet mighty, library. They are good, sweet children with endless potential.
