We thank you from the bottom of our little pre-k hearts for your most generous donations. Our technology center is up and running in our classroom thanks to your generosity. We look forward to our technology center every day and there is always a long waitlist. The iPads are already making a huge impact in our classroom. The iPads are opening new doors for us as we are expanding our technology and learning capabilities with our new tool. We have had the opportunity to play many educational games that correspond to our units of study and they are enhancing our learning of letters, shapes and numbers. You have filled our Pre-K classroom with more joy and knowledge, and have given us many more learning opportunities. With this kind donation, the iPads will be impacting Pre-K students for many years to come. We are forever grateful.

This classroom project was brought to life by PNC Grow Up Great® and one other donor.

Our students are surrounded by the ever-growing, fast-paced technology. Students gravitate towards technology every day but tend to use it in a non- educational way. We want to give them the opportunity to experience working with technology that allows them to expand their knowledge and flourish in reading, writing and math. The iPads will be used to practice literacy and math skills. Students will have the opportunity to work with the iPads during free choice and small group instruction. Students time on the iPads will be monitored to keep from over-exposure. As the future progresses, technology will enhance and transform the world, as will these little learners.
