Raleigh Park is set in a little community right behind our local library. This is a unique situation when you are apart of the third largest public school district in Oregon and only a few miles away from Portland. We have recently become an International Baccalaureate school to give our students more than the normal public education. We are international minded, inquiry based learning, and kid centered. I have 23 incredible students learning how to inquire about the world around them. Students drive the learning through their questions and excitement of the challenges I facilitate to hit our targets. We have a collaborative classroom with lots of student talk and students working together to reach their goal. Students not only work together to grow their academic knowledge but also their communication and social skills with a growth mindset.
