  • Learning Through Playing Outdoors!

    Funded Nov 30, 2022

Our students were so shocked and excited to see all of the items donated to our classroom. Since it is still very cold outside, we have only been able to utilize the balls and hopscotch mat outside. While bundled up, they excitedly stood in line waiting their turn to jump. We are looking for the weather to warm up a bit so we can stay outside longer to play with our sand and water items.

Thank you all again for your generous donations! Without amazing people like you, these opportunities for our classroom wouldn't be possible.”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Hughes

  • We're Still Learning at a Distance!

    Funded Jun 3, 2020

Thank you so much for your generous donations towards our project. I appreciate your willingness to help our students in need during these difficult times. I can't wait to give my students their Alphabet dry erase letter boards to continue their learning at home. They will be so excited!”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Hughes

  • Rewarding Hard Work

    Funded Apr 8, 2019

We are beyond grateful for your contributions to our classroom. Our students were beyond ecstatic to see all of the great treasures in our classroom treasure box. They loved the little squishy balls, sun glasses, small animals, and etc. There was something for everyone and it truly made their day.

Our students are still learning how to manage their behaviors and to make good choices. We use these treasures as an incentive to keep up the good work throughout the day and school year. We want them to know that not only will they get praise for making good choices, but they can also get rewarded as well.

From your donations, we have been able to utilize these treasures last year, during the summer school program, and this school year as well. The students show their families what they have received and explain to them what they did to deserve it.

    Thank you!!! :)”

    With gratitude,

    Mrs. Hughes

We have a fantastic group of 20 students that I teach in the Homewood Community. Their ages are 3, 4, and 5 years old. They are an energetic, inquisitive, and delightful group. They learn through play and enjoy exploring their environment to make new discoveries. Our district does provide basic school supplies, however there is a high demand for some new gym equipment.
