I have been researching and hearing such wonderful reviews about how flexible seating has helped their students be fully engaged in learning. I am so excited about rolling this out in my classroom, but I need your help! Using items like wiggle chairs and balance balls not only makes learning so much more fun, but it also helps develop a child's gross motor skills. Students need to be comfortable while learning. Sitting at a desk all day long is not only uncomfortable, but boring. Where do adults like to sit at home? On the couch? In bed? I am on my couch right now making this project. We like to be comfortable, and I want the same for my kindergarteners.
