  • No Computers? No Way!

    Funded Oct 1, 2007

YIPPEE! Finally, at long last, a computer! I cannot tell you how happy I am to accept this generous gift. My students are growing up in an extremely tech savvy world. A computer is an extremely important tool for students in my classroom and now we finally have one of our own. Thank you so much!

    Sincerely,

    Megan ”

    Funded Aug 31, 2006

On behalf of my wonderful seventh grade students, I thank you for funding this proposal. This group of intelligent, driven students deserves new, engaging material to read. It is such a relief to know that I will be able to put out brand new books in the library in the fall. Thank you so much!

  • Jump-start our library!

    Funded Jun 5, 2006

Thank you so much for this generous gift. As this school year draws to a close, I am reminded of how much students grow as readers from year to year. I am currently assessing student reading levels and I am delighted at the growth I've seen so far. Of course, this wouldn't be possible without engaging reading material for the students to use daily. Thank you for providing these much needed resources”

Thank you so much for providing funding for these much needed resources. This will help me start the year off on the right foot; with appropriate, high interest books for my sixth grade students. • Let's Talk Literature!

    Funded Jun 22, 2005

Thank you so much for providing these resources for my classroom. Teaching kids how to speak respectfully, intelligently and with accountability about any subject is challenging. But teaching kids to have lively conversations about books is particularly difficult during the middle school years. I am hoping that these materials will help kids by allowing them to listen to their peers and teachers having great conversations about literature. Kids will also be able to listen to their own conversations to see how and where they can keep the talk going.

    With Thanks,

  • We need books kids WANT to read!!!

    Funded Feb 25, 2005

I want to thank you for funding this much needed supplement to our library. The kids will be returning to school from Mid-Winter Break on Monday. I can't wait to share the news with my eager readers. Many of these books have been personally requested by students in my classes and I am sure these new reads will fuel class discussion and writing assignments for many weeks to come”

    With gratitude,
