Polaris E.L.S. music students study modern band which is the study of rock instruments like guitar, drums, bass, vocals, ukelele, keyboard. The students create original songs, collaborate with each other in rock bands, and express themselves through music that is relevant and meaningful to them. Polaris musicians are leaders in the community sharing their love and passion for Modern Band by performing at public events and other local schools. Our older and experienced students teach and mentor students new to music class or in younger grades, cultivating the future of music at Polaris. Our students are ready to delve deeply into the art of recording and live production by working with essential equipment and learning from professional musicians in the community. We believe this element will not only innovate the Polaris music program, but will inspire other schools to do the same.
