This, coupled with a monthly book for their own home library will help create a sense of classroom from an at home environment. We have the technology aspect handled, but I want them to have a mix of hands on print literature to call their own. Monthly I will be sending my students a package, it will contain the 2 scholastic newsletters and one book for their personal library. The love for reading is one of the most important skills I can teach my students in the year that I have them, this year our budgets are cut and half of our students are online so I will need help with giving them good quality text to read at home.
