Funded May 7, 2024Thank you so much for the generous donation. My colleagues and I are so excited about these wonderful folders, pencil pouches, canvases and pencil sharpener. I was able to share the folders and pencil pouches to my grade level partners. They are so grateful for these sturdy folders and pouches. They are especially excited about the clear pockets in the front and back. They will be able to have reference sheets to help the students with writing and math.
We really appreciate your generous donation to help get our students folders that will last through the year, crossing our fingers. I know my students are really excited about the folders. I am so excited for my heavy duty pencil sharpener. We are looking forward to providing opportunities for our students to express themselves through art and hands-on learning.
We really can't thank you enough for making sure our students have what they need to keep their papers and homework together. The Chapman staff is so happy to know that we have families who are supporting all that we are do for our students.”

Funded Mar 28, 2024Thank you so much for fulfilling this project. We really appreciate your generous donation. The entire school was so happy to have disc golf at our first annual Field Day Play Day. We love how the activity is accessible for all students. One of my students was so excited to see the game because he played it at a park. He kept throwing the discs into the goal without much effort.
We are looking forward to using the rice ball molds next year. It will be fun to introduce my students to making rice balls like the ones I make with my family.
Thank you so much for your generous donation and support.”

Funded Mar 27, 2024Thank you for this amazing experience. The solar eclipse glasses were a big hit. The whole school was so grateful for having glasses for every student and staff member. It was truly an experience to remember! From UTK to 5th grade, every student was thankful and appreciative of seeing the eclipse, even though it was a partial eclipse.
I think the people that were most excited were the parents. They were so happy to have the child experience this solar phenomenon. Our upper grade students spent time recording the solar eclipse with drawings in increments of 15 minutes. It was so much fun walking around watching our big artists at work.
I am extremely grateful for your generous donation and support in making sure our students and staff were a part of this historical experience. Thank you, again, for being a part of launching our rocket.
Next week is Teacher Appreciation Week, if you are interested, please stop by to see if my project for school supplies has 2X Match.”

Funded Oct 30, 2023I just want to take the time to let you know how much I appreciate the generosity you have bestowed upon my students. Many of my students don't have the necessary technology to compete in an academic and technological setting. When we received the iPad and Apple pencil, my students were able to share these new technology to create projects. Students were able to spark a greater curiosity and more enthusiasm into reading, writing and researching their interests. I have witnessed students who were reluctant speakers make great strides in their oral language and presentations of their projects. The students have the ability to play science games to strengthen or fill in missing gaps in their learning. I have seen their confidence soar through the roof.
I think these new additions to the classroom has made my students more motivated to complete assignments. Some of my students feel more successful and proud of their accomplishments.”

Funded Feb 5, 2023Thank you so much for helping us fund our project for ink toners for Chapman. Our teachers and staff are so grateful for your generous donation. Our students are so much more engaged when they receive resources in color. Images are much more clear when we are able to print in color and not just black and white.
Teachers have been able to print flashcards and worksheets for students to practice at home. The resources have really helped our upper grade students and students with intellectual disability prepare for our state testing these past two weeks.
Thank you again for funding our project. We really appreciate your help in making sure our students learn with engaging resources.”

Funded Dec 28, 2022Thank you so much for helping us keep our Lunar New Year traditions alive. I was very happy to share my traditions with my students as we prepared to celebrate the Lunar New Year. It was really fun to be able to have fourth graders, who also celebrated Lunar New Year, share what their families did to ring in the new year.
My students and I are really excited to be able to have a cleaning device to keep our room clean on a daily basis. It is nice to help out our custodial staff since they are so limited on time and can only do so much.
We really appreciate your generous donation to our project.”

Funded Nov 15, 2018I cannot express the gratitude and appreciation for your donation. Thank you for the wonderful opportunity you have provided to our 4th grade students to grow academically with technology. The 5 Chromebooks are providing differentiated learning environments such as small group interventions, individualized supports, and other basic skills practice that some of my students need on a daily basis.
One of the most exciting usage of the Chromebooks is for my students that are struggling in reading. It is really wonderful to see that they are able to access to the digital reading program and be able to listen to a huge collection of audio-books. The students enjoy this activity, because it's very interactive and it really helps them to focus and stay engaged throughout the learning process.
Again, thank you for your support and allowing more availability of the vital tools to help students develop and grow on their learning. Thank you for enriching my students' education!”

Mrs. Chung
