Rain doesn't have to go away if we have the right supplies inside. Recess is a time for children to be active and moving around. We would love Yoga DVDs and a Blu-Ray player so that we can do Yoga and stretch out our sillies. A CD player with fun CDs that we can sing along with would help us to dance and learn more songs. Pre Kindergarten students really need recess time to use their minds and muscles to keep them energized throughout the day. Even though we are inside, it doesn't stop us from moving about our play kitchen. We would love to have a play refrigerator and pretend food to cook for each other. During recess we can be whatever we would like. If we want to be the next Bill Gates and learn to code and learn by computers with the engineering and coding toys we can. Recess is a time for kids to be kids. They can move around, have fun and be loud in a safe place a long as they have the equipment to keep them happy. If we cannot go outside because of the weather, they should be taught to move and groove inside.
