Our classroom needs supplies for chemistry and life science investigations throughout the year. If our project is fully funded then my students will become chemists, botanists, and inventors! These supplies will allow our class to conduct hands-on experiments ALL year long. My students will have multiple opportunities throughout the year to be chemists when they investigate and experiment with the mixing of all the different chemicals and tools that are included in the chemistry kit. Your generous donation to our project will allow my students to become scientists! My students will have the opportunity to participate in the growing and the observation of the life-cycle of a plant instead of just reading about it. The life-cycle of a plant kit will enable my students to have all the necessary materials to engage with the life-cycle of a plant when we conduct our life science unit on plants. We live in an agricultural area but rarely do they actually plant and observe the life-cycle of the plants all around them. With the purchase of the Rainbow slime making kit my students will have the opportunity to be inventors and learn about marketing when we dive into the fun and exciting world of inventing by creating the rainbow slime during our study of scientific inventors and the polymer science unit. With your generous donation to fund my project I can follow the wisdom of another great scientist and inventor, Benjamin Franklin, "Tell me and I forget, teach me and I may remember, involve me and I learn."
